12 LBS - Steel Grit Blasting Media G50 Grit 12 LB Package Free Priority Shipping Cast Steel Grit Blasting Media  USA, Grit Size: G-50; Approximate Size: 0.011"" (Screen Mesh Size: 50). G-50 Grit produces a Medium Etched Finish Exceeding the life of aluminium oxide, glass beads, mineral abrasives, garnet or slag by nearly 1000 to 1, Cast Steel Grit can significantly reduce your raw material and disposal costs.  Cast Steel Grit is non-hazardous and contaminant free as received. During use it produces no free silica or associated respiratory and environmental hazards . Any metal dust created during use is insignificant, allowing for a virtually dust-free blasting environment. Cast Steel grit will quickly strip many types of surface contaminants from steel and other foundry metals. Steel grit is softer than aluminum oxide and does not fracture as easily, making it ideal for aircraft and aero-space applications. Finish Produced: Medium etch. Cast Steel grit blasting is ideal for aggressive cleaning applications. The angular nature of steel grit produces an etched surface on metal for superior adhesion of paint, epoxy, enamel, rubber and other coatings. Grit Size: G-50; Approximate Size: 0.011"
