This auction is for 12+ Silkie Hatching Eggs. We have Black and Cuckoo Roosters over Black, Splash, Blue-Gray, Splash hens. I am getting black, blue, splash and Cuckoo chicks from this breeding. I ship Priority Mail. Each egg is individually triple wrapped in paper towels and bubble wrap and placed in a well padded (shredded paper + bubble wrap) new PriorityMail box, air sac up. I do not ship in egg cartons because they are highly unstable. Once the eggs leave my possession, I am not responsible for them or your hatch rates due to handling by the post office, weather or your incubation practices. However, I believe customer service is very important so I will work with you on replacement eggs should the need arise on a case by case basis. I continually test fertility in my eggs by cracking open random eggs from each pen on a weekly basis. My eggs are collected daily starting the week before they are shipped (Sunday to Sunday). They are kept cool and turned several times a day. I treat and package every single egg like it is precious cargo - a baby chick in the making - so you can be assured I will do everything in my power to get them to you safely prior to them leaving my home.
