Offered are 12 Swedish Flower Hen hatching eggs from beautiful, healthy free ranging birds. Our flocks are well maintained on an all natural ration formulated for breeding show birds. Photos are of the actual birds you will be receiving eggs from. Swedish Flower Hens are a landrace breed imported from Sweden by Green Fire Farms in 2010 and are still rather rare in the US. They have no breed standard and are not recognized by the APA. Our flock of SFH consists of crested and non crested individuals with a wide range of plumage colors including blues, blacks, reds, and mille fluer with their distinctive "flowers". Our SFH lay medium-large, cream-light brown eggs. They love to free range and are excellent foragers. HATCHABILITY ****I can not and DO NOT guarantee your hatch rate**** We hatch chicks from our flocks regularly and have many satisfied customers from coast to coast. We have had many repeat customers and many compliments on our birds, packaging, and hatch rates. However, due to circumstances beyond MY control, all, some, or none of your shipped eggs may hatch!! This is the risk you are excepting when you place a bid on anyone's hatching eggs including mine!! Rough handling by sorting facilities may result in crushed boxes, broken eggs, & damaged air sacs which prevent the embryo from developing or resulting in early embryonic death. We DO guarantee eggs will be clean and properly managed BEFORE shipping. They will not be washed or sanded and will be kept on an automatic turner in a cool environment. Eggs are gathered 2-3 times daily from very clean nest boxes and will be 3 or less days old when shipped. We will ship within 3 days of auction closing (excluding weekends) or your money back!!! SFH require slightly different incubation parameters than most breeds with lower humidity rates for more successful hatching! You may wish to research this before incubating if you are unfamiliar with this breed. SHIPPING ****I am NOT responsible for the condition your eggs arrive in nor for postal delays!!!**** Eggs are packaged extremely well with each egg individually wrapped in bubble wrap with ends open for gas exchange, double boxed, and insured by the USPS. The box will be clearly marked on all sides FRAGILE HATCHING EGGS. If your box arrives damaged and eggs are broken, a claim should be filed with the USPS immediately!! (**The tracking number is on the box**) We will gladly replace broken eggs with picture evidence for the cost of shipping and packaging ONE time only! We will replace only the number broken and at our own convenience after shipping costs have been received!
