128 mode scan firmware for conventional Syntor X9000.  If you are having trouble adding modes higher than 32 or 64 to your scan list, this will fix your problem. This firmware supports adding modes 1-128 to the fixed scan list and/or the operator select scan list.  You can have modes 1-128 in the scan list.  If are if you are using a "hacked" RSS that goes up to 255 modes you will have trouble changing the fixed scan list.  I recommend to use the operator select scan list.  You should already be able to program 128 modes into your X9000.  If you can't, you need to find a different RSS. The "volume change alert tone" does not work in this firmware.  Some internal or external option boards/devices may not work.  Will not work with trunked or dual radio systems. You are responsible for radio programming, having the appropriate RSS, RIB box, and cables, etc.  Inside the radio, the firmware socket is on the personality board.  To replace it, dismount the radio, remove the bottom cover, pull the options shield off the personality board, and you will see the firmware socket (U501) as shown in the photo. This firmware does not increase the number of modes supported by the radio.  If the radio has the 28-pin EEPROM in socket U502, then it already supports 64, 128, or more modes if the RSS programs them in.  The only benefit to this firmware is having the large scan list.  No alignment or retuning is required.  Conventional radios only - this does not support any trunking operation. 14 days return OK.  Priority mail shipping in USA, first class overseas.
