  12v Portable Soldering Iron -6W 500mA  Works very nicely for small to medium stuff. Very handy for in-field repair work, Electronics Computer & Audio-Technicians, etc.. Only 15cm long - Takes very little space in your tool box !   But very useful when needed!   Combined with this efficient Switch-Mode Regulator - it can be setup to run from practically any power supply !  This can take any voltage from 13 to 35v input and enable you to use this solder with your 19v Laptop Power supply that you already have in your backpack (as an example) also the adjustable Output voltage can give you an adjustable soldering temperature! this is such a cool little setup !  that can be used anywhere anytime. This can run straight of any 12v battery and draw only 500mA, Yet the amount of heat it produces on the soldering tip is quite impressive for just 6watt of power! This Kit includes everything you need for a very nice versatile setup, including: DC Female Socket - to go on the input of the regulator DC Male Plug - to go on the Output of the Regulator and another DC Female Socket - to go on the end of the soldering iron cable.. This way it can be used with the regulator or just by itself plugged into the most common Car-Cigarette-Lighter cable , or any number of other standard 12 v Power sources... Very versatile and most useful set of gear to have in your small portable tool pouch !! this is some of the best in "MacGyver"-Style Electronics Repair & Adaptation - not to mention that the 3A SwitchMode regulator itself can literally save the day in many other in-field /emergency situations..
