On this tool the shank is morse taper but it does not cut a morse taper, details about the cut are below. This reamer has 4 Flutes not 6 Just a quick note, if you need a straight shank chucking reamer you can always just cut off the mt shank and then chuck on the section between the Flutes and the taper shank which is .364" diameter.
