Industry leading dependability is achieved using an oversized spindle that features a splined steel shaft and heavy duty bronze gear that is supported with tapered roller bearings. Push button, or foot switch saw head activation is used to avoid operator fatigue. Stroke distance is controlled by the shrouded feed cylinder. Clamping and un-clamping of the material is sped up by the adjustable pneumatic vise, which features a sliding gib. A mechanical coolant pump with flow control adjustment and a rugged fabricated steel base are also standard. FEATURES Push button or foot switch activation to avoid operator fatigue. Shroud enclosed feed cylinder with sliding cams for fast cutting stroke adjustment. Additional ball bearing support of hardened and ground spindle shaft to prevent failure. Adjustable pneumatic vise with sliding gib to true up clamping under blade with 1/4 stroke. Adjustable clutch for more efficient operation and longer blade life. Oversized pedestal base to reduce vibration. Head rotates 45? right and 60? left of center for easy miter cutting. Bronze worm gear with tapered roller bearing support. Removable hardened, serrated vise jaw faces.
