This auction is for ONE syringe filled with 15 grams of low temperature solder paste. This paste is very suitable for soldering parts of low temperature tollerance like LEDs, Germanium transistors and diodes or SiGe microwave circuits, etc. Also it could be used instead of ChipQuik to lower melting point of solder on parts that are to be desoldered. It is also great for tinning ends of thick wires of higher thermal mass - like speaker cables, high current RC model power supply wires etc. The wire is tinned without melting it's insulation and oxidising the copper thanks to the low temperature needed. Please consider that alloy of any Bismuth solder and leaded solder has even lower melting point, sometimes about 100°C. Therefore it is wise to wick solder pads thoroughly before replacing unsoldered part if the joint will be subjected to higher temperatures during operation. This batch is guaranteed to be useable till the March/2015. Should be stored in low temperature. According to my experience, it is also well useable many months afther the date of guarantee if stored properly. Buy more and pay only $1 shipping for additional items.
