Set of letterpress wood type characters An set of wooden printing characters in a very good condition. The characters are from Germany and we think, they should date from around 1930/1940. As you will see on the pics, the characters have not been used very often, some are even unused. We have counted 173 pieces, we hope, that we did not make any mistake on counting, but you will see, what you get on the close-up photos below. Each character measures 45 mm: 1.77 inch. We have removed some dust, but did no full cleaning.  Please be sure, that a carefull packaging will be done for the characters, so nothing will hurt the characters on transport. For detailed pictures see below, if you need more pictures, please let me know your email address. Please check also our other auctions, we have some more characters for sale, as we a parting from some printing blocks of our collection. Shipping will be from Germany to the US for US$ 85. If you have any other shipping destination than the USA, please contact me for shipping costs. - A lot of european countries are only US$ 45 for shipping. All item(s) are sold "as is" unless stipulated otherwise. Payment must be received within 7 days of auction close. I will combine shipping for multiple item winners to help reduce costs.
