12&11/16" x 8&11/16" maroon (pics give it a more red color, but it is maroon)cloth gilted hardcover, 416 pages, w/index in beginning of book, published 1879, contains twenty six issues of the weekly "The Illustrated Carpenter and Builder" publications from the previous year, 1878. Beginning with the July 5, 1878 issue and including up to the December 27, 1878 issue, well illustrated, with vintage ads at end of each issue (which is around 15 pages an issue). At lower spine is a hole(see pic), discoloration/fading near edges of cover but endpapers very good, binding also very good with no loose pages, appears that the interior of book was never abused. Endpapers with tan/greyish blemishing, only a few pages with tan marks from age, first few pages with diagonal wrinkle, most pages do not have tan marks("foxing) from age. front endpaper page with some short edge rips, at close range book has that old book smell. Someone else on Ebay is currently selling volume one for $450. I could not find anyone else on Internet with this third volume. Book will be shipped fully insured.
