1918 Johnson Hit And Miss Gas Engine Motor Brass Body Carburetor

US $310

My knowledge is limited, but was told this is from an antique 1 cylinder hit and miss motor. Top section is solid brass. Top bolts are rusted but removable and not stripped. Bottom bowl does not seem to tighten all the way... may just need gasket between it and body?? Float is made of cork and works. Side 1 "1918 Johnson Company Detroit Mich. Model A" on one side and "Patented Apr. 22,1918 Reg." on other. Top bolts are 2 3/8" center to center and top hole is 1 1/4". Butterfly works great but does have some rust. Side hole measures 1 11/16" outside diam. Fuel intake has been reduced to 3/8" fine thread, as shown. I am selling as is, so ask any questions needed. Please use zoom feature to inspect before bidding. I ship only once per week when all payments from this weeks auctions are received. Please contact me with any questions. 3m10
