Up for auction is a large lot of vintage 1920s paper, printing and graphic design journals, entitled THE PAPER BOOK: A Medium of Contact between the Manufacturer of paper and the People who use it. Published by Crocker-McElwain Company in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Seventeen issues in all, ranging in date from 1924 to 1927. The issues dated before 1927, except for one, have the rear cover removed, as these had a series of examples of catalog cover design from around the world. One of the 1925 issues, and all eight issues from 1927 still retain their rear covers. Interiors feature an intriguing collection of advertisements, paper stock examples, and more, detailing advancements in printing, all of which are designed to showcase the type of papers available through the publisher. Aside from rear cover removal, earlier issues are intact, with a couple detached front covers. The issues with all covers are in Very Good condition. Scarce issues. Good luck!
