All functions seem operate correctly and smoothly.  It is very clean, it needs a ribbon, The Porto-Rite decal is in excellent condition, as is the “Manufactured by Remington Typewriter Company” decal on the front panel.  There is a small decal on the left rear of the frame, stating “Patented In the U.S. and Foreign Countries”.  The machine is securely attached to the case bottom. The chrome is in good shape, The case is looking really good, with only the usual wear of 82 years.  still has handle intact which is uncommon for typewriter cases of this age.  The latch is functioning well, closing with a satisfying click.  The inside of the case is in great shape, and includes the original cleaning brush attached inside.  There is little if any “old typewriter” smell.
