This book THE DESIGN OF REINFORCED CONCRETE STRUCTURES - 1936 1st Edition - Hardcover Book by DEAN PEABODY, Jr. Associate Professor of Structural Design Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has 457 pages and it is full of useful information including charts, calculations and formulas for reinforced concrete structures. This book measures approximately 9 1/4 inches by 6 1/8 inches and inside the front cover someone has written 34 Prof. Mitsch and on the first blank page opposite the cover it is written in ink C.R.Beal Lowell Inst. M.I.T (see the photos). There is some minor staining on the bottom outside corners on some of the pages, as well as some pencil written notes or circling of information on a few pages and a page has a line that was highlighted. This book is in good condition for its age the binding is in great shape and all pages are intact and are flat and clean. I have not been able to find another copy of this book available anywhere, so I assume it is very rare! Please see the photos they are of this Rare Vintage book available in this listing.
