For sale is an IHC LA engine in the 3-5 hp size.   This is an earlier LA version which is much harder to find than the later LB.  The engine has compression and fire.  I did get it to pop a couple times but it will need a little tinkering (it's been in the barn for 25 years or so).  This is a throttle governed engine it is not a hit and miss.  The extended hopper on top is tin and does have one rust hole (see pics).  The air cleaner is still full of oil and seems good and solid.   Please look at the picture closely as these are a big part of the description and ask me any questions before bidding.  If you want more pics just let me know and I will email them to you.  This item is being sold as is and is for local pickup only in Hastings Nebraska.  I can put it on a pallet and drop it off at Fastenal if you make the arrangements.    Many of the items I sell are used or vintage and although I try to describe everything I see, I am not an expert and may miss things or some things I think of as insignificant may be very important to you, so please email me with any questions first.  Thanks
