1949 vintage book 'Manual of Roentgenological Technique' by L.R. Sante, MD. Early book about x-rays, x-ray equipment and calibrating it, x-ray positioning of patients both dental and physical, x-ray tubes, along with the history of William Conrad Roentgen, the physics of magnetism and electricity, darkroom procedures, etc.  Book includes many photographs including vintage x-rays, patients positioned for having their x-ray taken (kinda freaky), old x-ray equipment, etc.  There are also many illustrations in this book including what you do to x-ray a baby, the very odd positions patients have to make in order to get a good x-ray, how to use x-ray equipment on/around patients, body parts, etc. 424 page hardbound book was a classroom book from 1949 and has the original owner's name written on the inside cover.  There are some notes written throughout the book, but most look to have been done in pencil and very lightly.  Slight discoloration on cover, section of crunched of page corners, some folded corners used as place markers, and overall yellowing of pages due to age.  Please see photographs for best description of condition of this book.
