1951 Most Used Shorthand Words and Phrases According to Lessons in The Gregg Shorthand Manual, by John Robert Gregg, Louis A. Leslie and Charles E. Zoubek Published by Gregg Publishing, Division of McGraw-Hill Long before computers, cell phones and texting, stenographers would take notes using shothand. January 4th, 2013 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Sir Isaac Pitman, the founder of the Pitman Shorthand System. I'm not sure how that compares to Gregg's system, but this is certainly an interesting look at the evolution of business/secretarial and university not-taking! Soft-cover book, measuring 8" x 5 1/2" with 124 pages, with an index of words at the back. This is in very good used condition, no torn, missing, creased or stained pages.
