Vintage Advertising Premium ~~ VINTAGE ADVERTISING PREMIUM ~~ Vintage Grinding Wheel Block Advertising Premium comes in its original Vinyl Pocket Case which measures approximately 1-13/16" x 4-7/8". The Grinding Block measures approximately 1" x 4-3/8", and is stamped into the block on one side with the company's name as follows: BAY STATE The front of the Brown Vinyl Pocket Case features the company's logo in gold consisting of a grinding wheel atop a world globe, along with the following slogan: BAY STATE WHEELS of PROGRESS The following additional information appears on the Case in gold lettering: BAY STATE ABRASIVE PRODUCTS CO. Westboro, Massachusetts The Vintage Bay State Abrasive Products Advertising Grinding Wheel Block likely dates to the 1960's; it may have been used for sales promotion purposes, and offered to prospective customers of the company's line of abrasive products. It is designed for desk or workbench use, or to be carried in a shirt pocket for ready access. The old Advertising Premium is in Very Good to Excellent Condition for its Considerable Age, and appears to have been little used. Noted for accuracy is some wear/fading to the printed information on the Case, likely due to age and past storage. Please see accompanying photographs.
