Item: Cable Skidder   Make: John Deere 440 A Year: 1968 This  1968, John Deer 440A Cable Skidder has the 8 speed manak transmission, 3 reverse gears, runs/shifts great and works well. Tires are in good working condition, and comes with a set of tire chains currently on the wheels. This skidder has a rebuilt Engine with 100 hours on it since the rebuild. Skidder comes with a set of 5 choker chains, Manuals and maintenance logs. This skidder comes ready for work, and is definitely still usable  but we have to sell because we cannot maintain multiple skidders so we are selling the smallest one. We just fired it up and it runs GREAT!! We have more pictures Manuals included!! Please contact us if you want to look at it.
