1970's Smith Corona Coronet XL Model 6E Typewriter Incudes 5 Brand New Ribbon Cartridges I was cleaning out the hall closet and what did I find, this wonderful nostalgic piece of history...I remember well, typing away on this wonderful vintage typewriter in high school in the 70's. This is a Coronet XL Model 6E, serial #SW02511. It is a two-tone light and dark blue. In perfect working order and better yet, I stored it away with 5 new ribbon cartridges that slide right into the side of the typewriter. No fussing with ribbons. (The ribbon cartridge in the typewriter has dried~but is there too) See photos~additional photos available. I started it up again, and it purrs like a kitten and types beautifully. All keys are in working order. Is totally functional, would be great to use or just display this piece in your home office. I don't have the original manual, but I'm sure you can get one online.
