Lastly, it is important to remember that Kester is a registered trademark of ITW Kester, and CML Supply is in no way affiliated with ITW Kester. Kester 951 is a non-rosin organic flux specifically designed for rework of conventional and surface mount circuit board assemblies. It has an extremely low solids content of only 2.0%, resulting in practically no residue left on the assembly after soldering. This makes it safe for electrical testing as there are no residues to interfere with it. Kester 951 also exhibits improved soldering performance to minimize solder bridges during rework operations. Additionally, it is essential to wear safety glasses and use adequate ventilation when working with soldering equipment and materials. Avoid breathing in flux fumes emitted during soldering as they may cause pulmonary irritation or damage. This flux pen features a 12ml applicator with felt tip and is compatible with lead and lead-free solders. It is also RoHS compliant and has a 2-year shelf life. The flux residue is non-corrosive and non-conductive. However, it is important to note that this product is for industrial use only and should be used by experienced electronics technicians.
