This material is tested and guaranteed to work for radiation detection when coupled to a PMT and built into a probe. Dimensions: Diameter (Face) = 2” 50mm Sides = 1-1/2” 38mm Attention school teachers and students. These are excellent for science and physics projects, experiments and term or research papers. Scintillator detectors are fun and easy to build for all age groups from high school through college and university. Great experience and fun for the electronic hobbyist as well. The cutting and polishing of this plastic can be very difficult and costly without the proper knowhow and equipment. Unless you’re going to build dozens of probes, buying a round precut piece (or more) from me is much cheaper (and easier) than trying to do it yourself.
