(2) Dixson BEW51A Series Bar Graph & DVM Industrial Displays 200 Scale TESTED Here is pair of Dixson BEW51A series bar graph & DVM industrial displays. They have been thoroughly tested by our engineer and are guaranteed to be in fine working order and good cosmetic condition with a few scratches, as shown in the photos. These Meters are rated for Nuclear use. Better than Mil-Spec! Only the Display/DVMs shown are included in the photos. Nothing else. From our engineer: "These units run off a single +5 VDC @ 0.55 Amps power supply. The input circuit is configured for 0 to 5 VDC input. The meter and bar graph are both calibrated from 0 to 200. So a 2.50 VDC input signal would indicate 100 on the bar graph and the DVM. The DVM section of the display uses the industry standard ICL7135 4 1/2 digit digital voltmeter IC". "There is also LED's to indicate low and high threshold levels and a alarm indication. There are three multiturn potentiometers to adjust these set points. But the adjustments had an interaction and I did not have the time to document their correct adjustment steps". Designed to monitor 0 to 5 Volt signals with full differential input to help avoid external interference. The bar graph meter has 51 LED's which are controlled by one PCB independent from the digital display. And has two calibration controls. The bar graph section also has three LED's for fault conditions: One for LO level, one for HI level and the third for Fault condition. Each fault indicator also drives an open collector to ground transistor for remote monitoring. The threshold levels for the fault LED's look to be controlled by the digital control processor U1. The Digital displays are controlled by the industry standard ICL7135 4 1/2 digit DVM integrated circuit. The digital display section also has two calibration controls. In normal operation the ICL7135 input is feed from dual opamp U5 (OP14). Jumpers W3, W4, W5 control the decimal place location when jumped. The jumper W1 can be moved to W2 and the DVM IC will be feed by pin 15 on the edge connector. In this mode the DVM will read to 0.999 Volts with apx 7.70 volts input. All the units we have opened will support the addition of a fourth LED display in location DS58. The factory part is HP 5082-7653 which are available new and surplus.
