Two dozen (plus a few extras) coturnix quail eggs, ready to be incubated.  Eggs are collected daily, and stored at a cool ambient temperature until shipment.  We do not pre-wash our eggs which maintains the natural protective coating.  We have had great success with hatching, at about 80% hatch rate for fertile eggs (I cannot guarantee your hatch rates, but am happy to provide tips).  The eggs would be a mix of Texas A&M, Pharoah, Tibetan, and Tuxedo.  Our adult quail are kept in fresh air coops with pine bedding and sand baths, and are handled regularly.  Adults are kept in small family groups (one male to multiple females), which keeps the birds calm and relaxed.  Chicks are lively and easy to hatch, with 100% survival rate post hatch. Coturnix quail mature at 8 weeks of age, and we find our birds generally lay daily even in the cooler months.  If you choose to raise quail for egg purposes, you will find their eggs easy to cook and if you are concerned about cracking multiple eggs for one dish, quail egg scissors can be purchased online.  If you are new at incubating shipped eggs, please check out the articles on eBay or Backyard Chicken to ensure the best hatch rate possible. Eggs are carefully packaged with attention given to cushioning each egg, as we cannot guarantee handling in transit we always ship orders with extra eggs. Feel free to ask any questions!
