Lot of 2 Perkin Elmer Lead Containers Description This listing is for two lead-shielded containers that can be used to transport or ship radioactive or hazardous chemicals. Originally the chemicals were also placed in a specific vial which featured an octagonal lid. This explains the wrench built into the lid of this unit. Basically its a small "pill like" container measuring 3 1/4" long and just over 2" wide. It features a lead shield inside the plastic which makes the container weigh in at 14 oz each. Could be used for a variety of purposes or, if you have some of the original vials, used to safely store or ship them. Listing is for two units.
