This auction is for two McDonald Hard Hats.  The older model is a B.F.McDonald with U.S. Patent No. 217714 and No. D118432 stamped on the underside of the brim. This hard hat is dirty as found at a sale of a Superior Wisconsin well driller and logger who went out of business.   The liner is intact but weak and unsafe to use. The newer hard hat is a McDonald  T  "Hat Standard"  with Mine and Safety Appliances Co.  stamped on the underside of the brim. I'm not a safety expert and don't know if this hard hat is safe to use. Both hard hats are used with scuffs and scratches but have original shape.   From a smoke free home, recycled shipping materials used, no returns , USA bidders only.
