For sale are two pieces of titanium sheet 15.1 centimeters long by 4.0 centimeters wide. There is a dual metric/inch ruler for scale in the pictures. The actual item is pictured, from both sides. The thickness is 1.1 +/- 0.05 millimeters. This pieces are visually straight within 0.5 mm. The combined weight of both pieces is 60 grams. The smooth sateen surface has been washed with a sponge and detergent. There are some minor superficial scratches and smudges to the gray patina, which should not be an issue with most mechanical or electrochemical applications of this material. It is a soft grade of titanium (Russian GOST standard VT1-0, similar to the commercially pure ASTM Grade 2), easily machined or cut with a hacksaw, just like soft steel. Due to the excellent corrosion resistance it is suitable for a variety of applications, including marine, automotive, chemical, electrolysis (anodes and cathodes). This item will ship in a padded envelope, packed with corrugated cardboard.
