This type tube is normally used as an Amplifier, Modulator, or Oscillator. For typical information on this tube, you can visit web site: Tube Datasheet . Both tubes test good continuity on the filament without any short to the other elements. See first photo for filaments with 10 volts applied. However, I cannot test under load.
