Up for sale is a NEW 2" x 15" long piece of type M copper pipe with SEEMLESS (not seen from outside for a nice neat look) liquid management plates and 3/8" output (accepts any standard 1/4" plumbing fitting for whatever 1/4" SS needle valve you choose to use) for making a boka style still or adding an LM upgrade to an existing VM still. (pic is generic will update shortly) These are as new and shiny as it gets from the factory before I solder them:) This head accepts any 10-11" double helix condenser. I sell them as well see my other auctions. The type m is medium wall but still plenty heavy duty enough to work great for a column head. This will remove some of the extra top weight type L will add and yet is not thin walled like DWV so it will last. Easier to solder than L as well. For longer lengths send a message or check out my other auctions as I do offer 15" heads that are just empty sections of pipe. Please note that to solder from the inside so there is no seem outside I have to use soft solder. You will have to focus your heat directly where you are soldering and keep a wet rag on the output and around the pipe where the plates are to keep the already soldered plates from coming loose. It also helps to solder with the column standing up so you can close your valve and add some water to the lower plate so it cannot get hot enough to come loose. Sounds tough but I do it all the time and its pretty simple. Please keep in mind shining them like this is your responsibility. This one took 5 minutes with a piece of scotch brite and a brass wire wheel. I can add a brass ferrule to this for a sight glass for an additional $30 If you would like to see a pic of the plates see item # 200881442799
