2"x60y 9.6 Mil 3M 2525 Flatback Flat Back Paper Tape 243M Scotch 2525 Flatback Tape Use for holding, splicing or masking applications where high adhesion strength, high temperature capability and high backing strength are required. Can be used in many holding, masking and splicing applications where a high visibility tape is desired. It can also be used for various types of edging and binding applications Has excellent adhesion and backing strength levels and is resistant to moist conditions. Can be used for applications where a colored backing is desired and will withstand a bake cycle of 300°F (149°C) for one hour. Not recommended for outdoor applications or prolonged periods of sunlight exposure as tape may become very difficult to remove 2% elongation at break. Rubber adhesive. Size (WxL): 2" x 60 Yards Thickness: 9.6 Mil Color: Orange Quantity: 24 Rolls Why should you care about "mil"? Because the greater the "mil" the stronger the tape. The following are recommendation on what tape "mil" should be used based upon the weight of your package. Please use this at your discretion. 1.7 Mil- Recommended for packages under 20 lbs. 2.0 Mil- Recommended for packages under 40 lbs. 2.5 Mil- Recommended for packages under 50 lbs. 3.0 Mil- Recommended for packages under 65 lbs. 3.5 Mil- Recommended for packages under 90 lbs.
