20' Shipping Container Converted Into Greenhouse

US $5200

I have a twenty foot shipping container modified to become a greenhouse in Milwaukee, WI. It was disassembled and moved to become an amenity along a linear park known as the ARTery, but never reassembled by the organization programming and planting.  With a little love, and some paint or cladding, this could become a great base for a 4 season greenhouse in your yard, neighborhood, or park, or as an amenity to your business, like the Urban Farm Unit, CropBox, Growtainer, or Freight Farms.  It could also be stored on a chassis as a mobile farm for travel to and from weekend markets.  This container measures 20' x 8' x 8'. Five large steel beds were welded on the interior and a floor plate which was designed to collect and return water. Both the roof and front doors were removed, and at one time an extended ceiling was installed (see pictures toward the end for original setup) to allow for taller growing tomato plants. The doors were replaced with a sliding glass door which is still in tact. It is structurally sound, as framing has been added to the ceiling, but with the roof removed and never replaced, I'd recommend re-doing the floor. All walls are covered in reflective insulation to maintain temperature, and there are some plumbing systems still in place. Local delivery is $75/hour, which will become the responsibility of the winning bidder.  I am very motivated to sell - please feel free to extend an offer - all will be considered. Thank you and good luck!   Keywords: Conex, Cargo, Shipping, Storage, Corrugated, Steel, Cor-ten, Container, Trailer, Container, Greenhouse, Planting, Farming, Garden, Urban, Grow, Greens, Vegetables, Fruit, CropBox, Growtainer, Urban Farm Unit, Freight Farm
