For many years we have sold 2-71 Detroit Diesel generators salvaged from refrigerated rail cars. We are no longer able to obtain these units on a regular basis so we have been working on finding a substitute that we believe to be of equal quality. We have had a number of years experience with ISUZU diesel engines, which we believe are the finest diesel engines being made today. So we have decided to offer ISUZU-powered generator sets manufactured by Multiquip. These generator sets sell for over $24,000 new and include a complete array of gauges, 41 gallon fuel tank, and both single-phase and 3-phase voltages as listed below. They are completely enclosed units mounted on high quality trailers equipped with circular pintel hook type heavy duty hitches. These are extremely quiet, fuel efficient, easy starting units. They are checked and serviced prior to delivery to the customer. They are guaranteed to produce power upon receipt. The DCA25USI provides a prime rating of 20 kW (25 kVA) and a standby rating of 22 kW (27.5 kVA). A sound proof housing keeps operating noise levels to 59 dB(A). The unit features a mechanical governor that maintains steady state 60 Hz within 3-5% from no load to full load. A comprehensive analog control panel provides instrumentation including AC ammeter, AC voltmeter, frequency meter, AC circuit breaker, engine gauges and much more.
