For sale is a Rockwell Delta 20” two speed bandsaw. The two speeds are achieved via an actual transmission within the band saw controlled by a HIGH-LOW selector. Originally there was a Reeves variable speed pulley system that failed some time ago.. But the transmission is still in great shape providing about 3300 feet per minute for wood and about 300 feet per minute for steel cutting It has a 12’ capacity throat and will re-saw 12” boards with ease via its 2 horsepower 1725 RPM 230 volt American made motor. The wheels are heavy cast iron and had new bearings about 4 years ago. Photos show these items. Note the two 8” pulleys in place of the original Reeves variable speed drive. The saw has 20” clear between the blade and it's very rigid steel spine. Table is heavy cast iron (about 80 pounds!) and is 24 by 24 for lots of work space. Has a miter gauge slot. The saw uses 150” blades and comes with about 4 different blades of this length from 1/2” all the way up to 1”. Some of the blades have surface rust thought most have never been used. I have mostly done resew and lathe bowl blank work with it using 3 TPI hook tooth 1/2” blades. Blades guides are the current model ball bearing roller guides by Carter Products and are the best on the market. New the blade guide set is about $175, and parts are available if needed! The fence that comes with the saw is an aftermarket KREG fence including their micro adjuster and re-saw attachment. This is a current model and new is over $150! The tires are about a year and a half old from the Bandsaw tire warehouse on eBay. They are unique to this saw since the DON'T require to be glued on and come pre-crowned. Proper running tires are the key to excellent bandsaw performance! The wrench on the tension handle will come with the saw, and allowed me to properly tension the blades thought I have sever arthritis in my hands. Note the bandsaw has two sets of wheels. Only one set will come with it, the set on the back side was needed to move it from its previous location and will be removed once loaded into your trailer or truck. The wheels on the bottom will remain. These are very heavy duty locking casters and will allow the saw to be easily moved if desired. Note this unit weights more that 800 pounds! I can make a forklift available to lift into your truck or trailer.I am willing to ship via truck if you desire.
