Vecoplan RG-62 /125 HP Single Shaft Shredder Vecoplan Single Rotor Shredder Model: RG-62/125 SWU Short Mfg: 2005 125 HP Screen Size - Have both 1" and 3" Owner said: It is in operation now and running great. See pictures for machine run hours. A few additional notes: - We currently are using a custom counter knife set up . We did this in an effort to improve the longevity of the counter knife. We found these knives to last considerably longer than the standard knives and are compatible with off the shelf concave 60mm cutters. - both rotor bearings replaced 48 months ago. - Gearbox does leak a little oil but not much. (we catch it in a drip pan and monitor the fluid level ) It leaks appx a 5 gallon bucket a year. - Rotor and cutter holders are hard faced. Rotor has some wear but in fair shape and in my opinion. - Rotor originally had 50 holders/cutters on it , I have removed a few over the last year as the welds on the holders were showing some wear, however, it hasn't had a noticeable impact on material throughput. I have some new holders here he can have with the machine they just need to weld into place on the rotor. - I have a new PLC we kept on site as a backup (Included) Hydraulic Cylinders on the ram replaced in the past couple of months. -Comes with a stand (not currently being used so it's not in the below pictures) which places the shredder 2-3 feet higher if needed.
