This 7-piece office trailer was manufactured in 2006 by Design Space Inc. in Georgia and was used as a temporary educational space (offices and classrooms) by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Baton Rouge to handle the flood of refugees that moved north from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Each section measures 12 feet by 60 feet and includes its own Bard 5-ton wall-mounted air conditioning unit, all of which were tested and found to be in excellent working order before the building's disassembly this summer. The building currently sits separated and ready for transport (wheels may be required) in a dry field just outside of Baton Rouge. When assembled, its layout includes eight long rectangular offices measuring roughly 11 by 25 feet each, two large conference rooms or classroom spaces measuring approximately 25 feet by 25 feet each, and two public restrooms, one each for men (three stalls and three urinals) and women (five stalls). All rooms open off of a central hallway that runs through the center of the building. Please see the floor plans in the gallery for more precise room dimensions and for a complete depiction of the building's current layout. The building is rated to withstand 130 MPH winds and pressure of 20 pounds per square foot on its roof when fully assembled. As you can see, the building is in great shape inside and out, and could be used today with no renovation necessary. Ask us about transport costs and/or interior modifications. Our teams of quality modular building specialists can help you create the layout you need, wherever you need it!
