MORE PHOTOS ON THE PHOTOS PAGE OF MY WEBSITE Bella's Gelato is a successful business in just over 1 year. The Food Truck business is booming, so if you've been thinking about it, now is a great time. I recently got the dream job of a lifetime flying drones for the motion picture/television industry in Los Angeles. The job will start off very slow and within 6-10 months or so should be closer to full time so I just want to get prepared to sell my business in the coming months so I'm not scrambling to try and get it sold fast. When the new job becomes full time I will have to be in Los Angeles or travelling most of the time which leaves me unable to operate the Food Truck. The 2014 trailer is a perfect size with lots of room inside. It's 14ft long by 8.5ft wide and a tall 7ft ceiling height. Everything in the trailer is custom from the $3,000 graphics wrap all the way down to the vapor lights instead of the standard fluorescent tube lighting. It also has custom built tempered glass windows, Dometic 13ft electric awning with remote control, electric jack, top of the line wireless backup camera from Rear View Safety, and tons of other custom features. I'm selling the business with the brand so buyer is free to use the existing name, website, social media accounts, and clientele to be profitable from the get-go. It took over a year for me to custom design a trailer and figure out all the details and how to prepare for a successful Food Truck business. The trailer was built to my exact specs by United Trailers, they are a top noch quality builder that mainly build NASCAR race car trailers. I found many places that could build a trailer for less money, but nowhere near the quality of my trailer. And with quality, you get a trailer that will last many many years and not have all the typical problems a cheap trailer build would cause you.  I was even in a signed contract with Wells Cargo and after a few months of trailer design they could not build my trailer because I was too demanding and wanted perfection to my exact specs. They refunded my deposit and then I found United Trailes and researched them for a few weeks and found that they were one of the top builders in the country. My trailer alone empty with only sinks and generator compartment with no windows or equipment was just about $20,000 with tax and license. Everything I purchased was brand new EXCEPT for the generator and I wish I would have purchased it new. I just had a brand new one installed with a 2 year warranty at a cost of $4,500. Also my generator is porpane and not gas like most Food Trucks have. I burn only 3/4 gallon an hour and that's with the AC running. And propane is almost $1.00 cheaper a gallon than gas so it saves a significant amount of money every year. Plus it burns much cleaner and doesn't have the issues that a gas generator would have. PLUS no one wants to hear a loud generator, this is a top of the line commercial Onan 5.5kw and sound is only 63 debicles with full load at (10ft) where most others are a lot louder and decibles arr measured at 20 to 25ft. ALSO, my trailer runs on batteries and the generator is only needed when you run the AC, in the cooler months I don't even use the generator. I have the highest quality built inverter/charger/battery system so that also saves money by not having to run the generator all day long. I have over $50,000 invested into my business with my trailer, equipment, and all support equipment. You can pay off the trailer in just one year of business. The great thing about my business is that it's a one person job and there's not hours of prep and take down like most all the other Food Trucks have so that means more income for you. My gelato is purchased and is extremely high quality so it sells itself. I can set you up with my gelato distributor and they can ship directly to your home. My setup is fairly complicated to run with all the different electrical systems so I will train the buyer for a few weeks so they are comfortable operating by themselves. Another few hundred dollars a month savings is I do not need a commissary since I do not prepare any food items. I'm including 3 huge freezers that store my product, they have remote temperature monitoring that email and text you if there is a temperature change. Another great thing about a trailer verses a motorized Food Truck is you don't have to worry about breaking down. Almost everyone with a truck has broken down and many have broken down several times. At least with a trailer if your tow vehicle breaks down you can just rent a tow vehicle and stay in business instead of being out until your truck gets repaired. It's an extremely profitable business because the Gelato food cost is only 22% and with including cup/spoon/cookie, the total cost is 23.5% which is a great profit margin. I also sell Root Beer Floats and that profit margin is HUGE with only a 9% food cost and with cup/straw/spoon the total cost is only 11%. I also sell beverages which has a great profit margin as well.  So by being able to work the truck yourself, no prep work, and the low food cost / low fuel cost it really makes a great profitable business.
