If you're looking at this machine for sale, you probably know all about it. During summer 2021, we took delivery of this beautiful Emery Thompson to experiment with production of Ice Cream and Italian Ice. The machine is flawless and in perfect condition. We simply have decided to stay out of the ice cream business. It has less than five hours of use and has been properly cleaned, sanitized, and lubricated over the past three months. This unit is on hand and can be picked up immediately. No wait compared to ordering factory new! Unit is located in Northeast Ohio and must be picked up. Onto the details of the machine (taken from the Emery Thompson website): MODEL 24NW (Water Cooled) or 24LA (Air Cooled) DESCRIPTION: 24qt./22 liters (per batch) horizontal batch freezer for the production of hard ice cream, sorbet, gelato, frozen yogurt, sherbet and Italian ice. All our machines are hand made in the U.S.A. All contact surfaces are stainless steel. Our batch freezers are proven to last 40-45 years of high production. All E.T. machines are AAA Dairy, U.L. and sanitary approved in accordance with ANSI/NSF standards. CAPACITY: 100-120 quarts of finished premium ice cream per hour. 60 quarts of finished sorbet per hour. FREEZING CHAMBER: Our hand made Stainless Steel freezing chamber is six time thicker than any other batch freezer. The thicker walled cylinder along with our stainless steel beater allow you to add whole nuts, cookies and fruits directly into the freezing chamber while the product is being made – AN EMERY THOMPSON EXCLUSIVE! Our machines with the touch-screen Infinite Overrun Control allow you to select a product from the new bright display and GO! Plus you can still choose to set your overrun manually through the full range of speeds without losing torque (mixing power). With this batch freezer you can produce Artisan Gelato, any air content hard ice cream (low, medium, high), sorbet, Italian Ice, sherbet, and frozen yogurt.
