PIEZO DISCS - Lot of 12 pieces. These are surplus from a car alarm manufacturer. They have three (3) soldered leads, one to the Piezo element, and two to the brass, but you will only need to use two leads (the wires are wound as they served as battery connectors in their original application).  Piezo elements respond to mechanical stress by generating a small voltage so these can be used as mechanical strain sensors, guitar and drum pickups, etc. When an alternating voltage in the audible frequency range is applied to a Piezo disk, it will vibrate at that frequency generating an audible sound. Thus the Piezo disk can be used both as a sensor, and as an audible generator. These Piezo disks measure 20 mm in overall diameter (a bit over 3/4 inch), with the piezo element measuring about 15 mm in diameter.    NOS (New Old Stock) with attached wire leads.
