Product Description: This refrigerant charging scale is ideal for HVAC and refrigeration service, including the critical charging of small refrigeration systems. This scale offers accuracy of +/-0.25oz, which means that this unit is dependable and will ensure that every job is done right! The test results are pictured in this listing. We used an 8lb barbell weight and a Sharpie marker to test the scale. After being tared and placing the 8lb barbell weight on the scale, it showed a weight of 8.19lbs. The 8lb weight showed a weight of 3.715kg. While 8lbs=3.629kg, 8.19lbs=3.715kg (so this ensures the accuracy of the measurements!) The Sharpie marker was used to test the oz function of the scale and showed a weight of 0.20oz. It is also recommended to remove the battery if the unit will not be used for an extended period of time, therefore this item will be shipped with the battery removed and secured in bubble wrap inside of the carry case. *Bryce's Bargains* ** Condition is based on our best opinion and judgement, your opinion may vary from ours.
