The manufacturer uses a linear, high-density polyethylene resin that provides outstanding environmental stress crack resistance to make the tanks. The resins meet specifications contained in FDA Regulations 21 CFR 177.1520, (c) 3.2 and so may be used as an article or component of articles intended for use in contact with food, subject to any limitations in the regulation.
