24 pt. Latin BRASS Letterpress Type On offer: an extremely rare set of 24 pt. Latin BRASS Letterpress Type which contains uppercases, numbers (two variants), some symbols and punctuation. It can be used in hot stamping and hot lettering (as you would do on a leather book binding), where brass type is required for durability and to handle the high temperatures needed for hot foil transfer. This auction DOES NOT include the metal galley you see the items pictured on. Please see photos for further details. Latin is a general name for a number of typefaces which originated in the 1880s or earlier. Most of them were made by various foundries, sometimes under other names.
