Offered: Garamont Italic Swash Caps and a collection of auxiliary characters that are oftentimes characters not included with all standard Italic fonts. Also included are caps and lower case that were part of a font that I no longer own. It is a small but usable font, most of the Swash and aux. characters have never been inked. This came from a shop that I had acquired some time ago. As I sorted through galley after galley of undistributed type I discovered items like this Swash font which was never distributed into the case which it belonged. The font was sold and of course I found additional Garamont Italic that was never removed from forms. Garamond and Garamont are essentially the same face with very little alteration of letters, Garamond is the ATF Hard Foundry version and Garamont is the Monotype version. This is being sold as sorts as this is of course is not a complete font. If you own this typeface and would like to increase the amount of your holdings here is a golden opportunity. Please remember this is Monotype Garamont Italic as there are slight differences between the two typefaces. Galley shown in photographs is not included with this offering. This font is set on a 30 pica length line that is approx. 5 inches in length. Weight of font without packing or shipping box is 2 pounds 3 ounces. Please study pictures carefully to qualify the suitability of this font to your needs. This item will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail flat rate box. Shipping is reasonable, timely (delivers is in 2-3 days) and shipping includes insurance coverage and USPS Tracking. I do not add a handling fee to any of my offerings.
