Item recovered locally, semi tested and sold AS IS with option to return at your expense as long as sent back in original condition. This auction is for 25 Pager Restaurant Server or Office Staff RX-SP5 Pagers w/Five 5-Bay Chargers and Power Supply. This came in from a local business that got a new system. These all look to be in pretty decent shape, but I don't know how to test them fully, so unfortunately I will have to sell as a parts/repair lot only. I put 25 pagers into the five 5-bay chargers and found what I believe is the power supply that came with it and plugged it in. (I have another charger base and looked up in the charger manual, these use only 10VAC power supplies to charge pagers). All the bays are chained together and are mounted on a heavy duty plastic base. All of the 25 bays lit up with a red power light. I let it charge overnight and did some testing this morning. All of them still were lit up red and still charging. When I did unplug the unit, all red lights went out and a few seconds later, a bunch of them were buzzing and vibrating. They vibrated so much that about 10 of them popped up and out of their charging bay a little bit. I looked down from the top and saw a bunch of lit screens. I turned out the light and it looked like almost all of them were lit up. The #1 designated unit was lit up a little bit, but not as much as the rest of them. The #25 designated unit didn't light up at all. When it sat for a small amount of time, only about 15 on the screens were still lit. I don't know if some of them didn't have any message or whatever makes them light up, but I do believe that the batteries in these units are probably weak and might have to be replaced, just to be sure. I did grab a couple of the ones that were lit up and took a couple of pictures. One said No Message (pic 10), and the other had a few numbers on it (pic 11). The last photo shows unit # 1 that wasn't lit as bright as the others. It looks like it just has some side lights that are lit, while the other two have the whole screen lit up. I saw someone on the internet was selling these that were originally priced at $129 for a new unit, and was reduced to $66 apiece, just for the pager. The chargers are probably pretty expensive too, and this auction does come with the power supply. I believe these probably need a base station to push buttons to page individual pagers, and maybe some kind of software or something to get this hooked up, so this is only for the pagers, chargers, and power supplies, or what you see in the pictures. Nothing else comes with this auction. Nice bunch of pagers that could cost you up to a few thousand dollars if all bought new. Again, these have not been thoroughly tested, so they are sold AS IS. We sell tons of items this way, and many people have been very satisfied, especially when they just buy the item for parts/repair and find out they work fine. Thanks for your time.
