This custom vintage set of 25 glass microscope slides were mostly manufactured by Turtox (General Supply Biology, Inc, Chicago), circa 1960s, though a few of the slides are earlier. Turtox has been manufacturing slides since the 1920s. This particular set was put together for instruction at a Philadelphia medical college. The set has the occassional tiny chip or edge wear. Please look at photos for a better idea on condition. (kindly, for the uninformed…These are actual animals, not photograph images.) Quite a conversation piece. A Unique gift for anyone involved or interested in Biology scienes, Veterinary, Anatomy, or other health sciences. Also included: the set will be shipped in a sturdy plastic Turtox slide presentation case (some light general wear).
