260 KW three phase, voltages 120v, 240v or 460 v, 200-600 amps, used as a standby for Western Electric was roof mounted and enclosed on corner base mounts ( part of main frame). 1120 total hrs. since new, in excellent condition, Solar Turbine Model T350(260kw) 350 h.p. gas turbine engine, 12 wire generator Mounted in a completely enclosed weatherproof cabinet , 4'6" wide x 9' long x 66" high with external monitoring controls, intake through top of enclosure, turbine exhaust discharges through end of cabinet opposite the control center Turbine can run on kerosene, diesel, jet A , vegetable oil/fuel mix or other military grade light fuels, burns approx. 10-14 gph at full continuous power Can also be converted to run on natural gas Turbine compressor is axial flow, single shaft design turning at 37,050 rpm through mechanical oil bath gear box reduced to 3600 rpm and direct drive to generator. Electro-mechanical FCU, fuel injector pressure pump and hand priming pump, fuel intake and return lines are approx. 1/2" i.d. each, requires external fuel tank, I have a 500 gal or 1000 tank for sale separately if you need one. Battery compartment enclosed in floor of cabinet, batteries are not included ( requires 2-4D 12v batteries) Electric 24V starter for turbine activation with electronic igniter. Automatic or manual start, automatic computer controlled emergency shut downs for turbine over temp, low oil pressure and overspeed. Wooden 4" x 4" skids at present but steel pipe or channel would be more durable for remote operations, there is no pick up ring on the top of cabinet for lifting, must use forklift to unload or construct a steel skid frame. This turbine generator is a Solar Turbine brand unit (now known as Caterpillar Turbine, San Diego ,Ca.). This unit has very little use only being operated for 1120 hrs., extremely clean, all gauges work, has been stored inside storage bldg. 9 safety shutdowns, manual throttle increase or decrease, emergency shutdown and separate run condition lever with 4 positions Parts and service are available in the USA and comes with complete operation , wiring and parts manual Stored in warehouse since 1990 Approx. weight 4000 lbs.
