Shades 9 thru 14 available (Some shade 15's on request)************************************************************** Silver coated lenses are becoming quickly a rare find and a "thing of the past" as nearly every manufacturer as opted to no longer make Silver lenses in preference to the Gold coated lenses that are now the Standard. BUT... Silver lenses perform exactly the same function, with exceptional reflective properties which keeps the lens and the welders' eyes cooler by dissipating heat and reflecting light energy as opposed to absorbing it, which causes internal heat build-up in the lens. HOWEVER... SILVER IS SLIGHTLY HARDER AND MORE SCRATCH RESISTANT THAN GOLD... Meaning more use and abuse before the necessity of replacing your lens. THESE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN WITH A PHONE CAMERA WITH NO SPECIAL FILTERS, WHILE WELDING WITH FLUX CORED INNERSHIELD USING NR211 WIRE ON 15YR OLD RUSTY STEEL. IT'S A DIRTY, SMOKEY, NASTY WELDING PROCESS... THEREFORE THE PHOTOS DO ZERO JUSTICE TO THESE LENSES. THE CLARITY AND COLOR IN YOUR HOOD IS PRISTINE. The SECOND BLUEST, COOLEST, EASIEST ON YOUR EYES, MOST CRISP AND CLEAR WELDING LENS YOU WILL EVER OWN. BAR NONE. This is a UNIVERSAL DIN SHADES #9 all the way to #14. THESE LENSES ARE 2 SEPARATE LENSES IN 1. THE ONLY LENSES MORE BLUE ARE THE INSANELY BLUE AULEKTRO LENSES IN GOLD COATED GLASS.
