We are selling a Davis Standard 3 1/2" thermatic single screw extruder. It has seven heat zones. There are four heat and cool zones on the barrel. The barrel is air cooled and the throat is water cooled. The other three zones are heat only. There is one zone for the Xaloy screen changer, one for the adapter and one for the die head. All seven of the zones are electric heat. It has a ten hole strand die. The L/D ratio is approximately 30/1. The machine also does have a vent on the side of the barrel.When we bought the machine it did not have a screw. We had one made by American Screw and Barrel and it is a custom design.  The  machine also comes with an Xaloy hydraulic screen changer. It has the option to run breaker plates or not, however we do have two breaker plates that will come with the machine.The machine will come with the electrical cabinet, screen changer, hydraulic tank and the barrel and screw assembly. It will NOT come with the platform, feeder or anything else in the pictures. The gearbox ratio is 17.39 at 100 RPMS. Transportation of the machine will be the responsibility of the buyer. We will disconnect the power to the machine as well as the control cabinet from the extruder control panel.
