Properties CrazyDrill Cool is used for all applications requiring deep, accurately drilled holes. In order to cover the entire spectrum from non-ferrous metal to heat-treated steel, it is available either with a specially developed coating or in an uncoated variant. The novel internal cooling system developed by Mikron Tool provides optimum cooling and lubrication at the cutting edge, even on low-pressure machines. The special CrazyDrill cutting edge geometry is designed for optimum chip removal. At a depth of 10 x D a single drill thrust is sufficient. Compared with the standard deep-hole drill, it achieves advance speeds and feeds 10 to 20 times higher than standard drills Five benefits • Maximum drilling performance thanks to better cooling effect • Maximum drilling precision • Suitable for materials that are hard to machine • Minimum pe cking cycles required • Short version 10xD
