Typical applications include exhaust headers, chemical tanks, restaurant and distillery equipment This tig welding filler rod is 3/32" diameter by 18" long. 3/32" diameter is a good diameter for working with heavier material say from 3/32" thick on up. Yes, we have cut this from 36" long to 18" long, the first thing most tig welders will do when they have a 36" long piece.
