Selling is a pre-owned vintage 3 arm 610 gram lab counter balance scales that are in great condition. One arm measures 0 to 10 grams in steps of 1 gram, the second arm measures 0 to 100 grams in steps of 10 grams, and the middle arm measures 0 to 500 grams in steps of 100 grams for a total range of 0 to 610 grams. This is a well made cast iron counter balance scales that are in very good working order. When no load is applied, the arm points to 0 on the scale and when a 100 gram weight is applied it points to exactly balance when the 100 gram slide weight is moved to the 100 gram position. The scales also have two screw weights under the platform that may be screwed in our out to fine adjust the balance position. This is not only a functioning scale that can be calibrated, it is also a work of (scientific) art that can be displayed proudly in anyone's study or office.
